Welcome to the exciting world of ICE CREAM FLOAT! This game is an upcoming side-scrolling platformer that takes significant (dare I say blatant) influence from the very early first-party Famicom/NES titles, which are better known as the "black box" series of games. Join AISU THE PENGUIN on her quest to eat as many tasty frozen treats as possible while also enjoying a healthy pescatarian diet of salmon along the way. Bop enemies, dodge obstacles, and get to the end. It's that simple!
This demo consists of the first world in its entirety, in a largely final state (changes that are subject to happen mid-development notwithstanding), with a prospective release date of early 2022.

I haven't heard anything about this game for a while. Is it still in development?
Development has been a bit slow due to real life/financial commitments and other things, but I'm hoping before we enter the third quarter of the year I'll have a major update to post about.
The fact that there's still interest in this game even after a drought of info has me motivated to deliver, though!
Take your time. Making a game is not easy. As a game dev myself I feel your pain. I'd love to see this game when it comes out! Best of luck!
Very fun and cute! The music and sounds are spot on for classic NES games. This game has a lot of charm, and I look forward to more of it!
